MONTICELLO - Ginna Gail Moore, 69, of Monticello passed away at 9:04 a.m. Wednesday (May 15, 2024) at home.Ginna was born Sept. 17, 1954, in Urbana, to Virgil and Darlene (Manuel) Mahin. She married Michael Moore on Aug. 18, 1979, in Mahomet.Ginna is survived by her husband, Michael Moore of Monticello; daughters, Jordan (Mark) Neal of Dayton, Ohio, and Savannah Schweig of Monticello; son, Austin (Kaitlyn) Moore of Champaign; five grandchildren; her father, Virgil Mahin of Mahomet; sisters, Lynn Masters of Champaign, Shelley Porter of Seymour and Erin Fulk of Mahomet; and very best friend, Bobby Adams of Champaign.She was preceded in death by her mother.Ginna retired from the University of Illinois. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello. Ginna was an avid Chicago Cubs and Illini fan, and she loved dogs.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello with a celebration of life service at 1 p.m. Private
