Kenny Epperson (May 15, 1970 – January 12, 2024), of Poplar Grove, IL, passed on unexpectedly, not knowing he wouldn't experience another spring.He is survived by the love of his life (his wife of 24 years, Tracy), their children, Billy (Hayley), Megan (Zach), Kenny Jr., Kyle and Brett, three grandchildren, Riley, Lincoln, and Emery, his parents Dana and Colleen, sisters Amala (formerly Lois) and Alicia (Dan), nephew and niece, Collin and Amelia, his dog Bo, and many more loving relatives and friends.Kenny had a deep love of nature. In childhood, he especially enjoyed riding his bike and fishing, which became a lifelong passion.He graduated from Monticello High School, followed by ITT Technical Institute, and worked as an HVAC Specialist for many years.An avid fisherman, Kenny was a past member of the C-U Bass Club, and more recently was in the Rockford Hawg Hunters Bass Fishing Club, having won several bass tournaments throughout the years.Many of the sunrise, sunset, and other natur
