BEMENT - Eva M. Bentley, 88, of Bement passed away at 4:25 a.m. Sunday (May 26, 2024) at the Bement Health Care Center, Bement.Eva was born Oct. 6, 1935, in Ivesdale, to Merill and Leila (Dunn) Strater. She married Duane Bentley on April 2, 1954, in Crawfordsville. He passed away March 3, 1997.Eva is survived by her daughter, Fran Einhorn of Bement; grandchildren, Laurie (Mark) Meyer of Arcola, John (Jenna) Einhorn of Winter Garden, Fla., Matt (Jen) Einhorn of Manassas, Va., and Jenny (Jason) Daniels of Bement; great-grandchildren, Claire Meyer, Abbie Meyer, Maggie Meyer, Everly Einhorn, Eleanor Einhorn, Makenzie Daniels and Garrett Daniels; and sister Wanda Jenkins of Gifford.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Harold Strater and Merill Strater Jr.; sister Clair Horath; and son-in-law, Tony Einhorn.Eva worked as a bank teller at First National Bank of Champaign.
