MONTICELLO - Mary Jane "Pete" Foster, 86, of Monticello passed away at 9:24 p.m. Thursday (June 13, 2024) at Springfield Memorial Hospital, Springfield.Pete was born Sept. 24, 1937, in Clinton, to Lawrence and Clara Loraine (Gunter) Dillow. She married E. Clyde Foster on Aug. 20, 1955, in Clinton. He passed away on July 24, 2016.Pete is survived by her children, Arnie (Rhonda) Foster of Edwardsville, Lori (Dave) Spicer of Monticello and Barry (Jan) Foster of Festus, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her brother Jack (Lois) Dillow of Clinton; and sisters, Irma Prosser of San Jacinto, Calif., Collette Baker of Monticello and Dorles (Don) Barber of The Villages, Fla.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers Robert and Don Dillow.Pete was a retired purchasing agent for Viobin, Inc., in Monticello. She was a member of the DeLand Christian Church, Kirby Auxiliary and a volunteer at the Piatt County Nursing Home.     Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. T
