MONTICELLO - It is with great sadness that the family of Timmons Allen Kelly, 79, of Monticello announces his passing on Tuesday (June 18, 2024). He was born on March 9, 1945, the son of Charles Henry Kelly and Geraldine Allen Kelly.Timmons Allen Kelly is survived by his son, Christopher Allen Kelly; brother Thomas George Kelly of Champaign; brother John Charles Kelly of Galva; and nephew, Jason Kelly of Bement.He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James Dunn Kelly.Timmons was a partner in the Kelly Brothers Farm Partnership. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Vietnam veteran 1966-67. Tim worked as a steel trimmer specialist at Clifford & Jacobs.Tim was one proud Marine! He was proud to have served his country. He loved nature and feeding the birds. Tim enjoyed sports, mechanics, music and his word-searches.
