MONTICELLO - Laurence Joseph "Larry" Head, 67, of Monticello passed away at 11:27 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 5, 2025) at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, Urbana.Larry was born on Jan. 11, 1957, in Rock Island, the son of David Lee and Shirley Lucille (Anderson) Head. He married Mick Bohnsack on June 21, 1986, in Princeton.Larry is survived by his wife, Mick Head of Monticello; daughters, Davi (Kurtis) Kraehmer of Rantoul and Audrey Bigger, USN, of San Diego; sister, Laura Hoogerwerf of Oswego; and three grandcats.He was preceded in death by his parents.Larry was the corporate parts manager for AHW in Champaign. He worked for John Deere for 49 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Francis of Assisi Chapter in Monticello and Holy Cross Catholic Church in Champaign.Larry enjoyed carpentry, reading and watching Kurtis perform in his monster truck.
