WHITE HEATH - Linda Faye Agapoff Powell, 77, of White Heath passed away at 10:54 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at home.Linda was born on March 24, 1947, in Reseda, Calif., the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Reynolds) Agapoff. She married Walter L. Powell on Jan. 15, 1969, in Urbana.    Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Walter Powell; son, Jon; daughter, Brooke; and grandchildren, Ryder Powell, Savanah Mauser, Emily Mauser and Jacob Zatorsky. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Emily Renee.Linda grew up in Decatur and graduated with the Class of '65 from Lakeview High School in Decatur. Following high school, she enrolled in classes to become a radiologist at Mercy Hospital in Urbana. During her career, she served at six local hospitals and retired from Kirby Medical Center as an X-ray technician.A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 15 at Centerville United Methodist Church, 2269 Lickskillet Road, White Heath, IL 61884.
