IVESDALE - Carole Jean Kirwan, 87, of Ivesdale passed away Tuesday (Jan. 7, 2025) at 10:44 a.m. at home in Ivesdale.Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ivesdale. Father Patrick O'Neal and Deacon Jim Brewer will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Ivesdale.Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.Carole was born on Sept. 15, 1937, in Monticello, a daughter of Clarence and Beulah Webb Blacker. She married Hiram Thomas Kirwan on Sept. 25, 1954, in Monticello. They were married for 70 years, and he survives in Ivesdale.Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Lawson and Pamela Bailey, both of Ivesdale; four grandchildren, Sarah Lawson, Courtney Lawson, Paige (Nathan) Rhodes and Faith Bailey; as well as her great-grandchildren, Sam Dalton and Rylan Rhodes.She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas
