Laurence Joseph 'Larry' Head, 67, of Monticello, passed away at 11:27 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2025, at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, Urbana.Larry was born on January 11, 1957, in Rock Island, IL the son of David Lee and Shirley Lucille (Anderson) Head. He married Mick Bohnsack on June 21, 1986, in Princeton, IL.Larry is survived by his wife, Mick Head of Monticello; daughters, Davi (Kurtis) Kraehmer of Rantoul and Audrey Bigger, USN of San Diego, CA; sister, Laura Hoogerwerf of Oswego; and 3 grand-cats. He was preceded in death by his parents.Larry was the Corporate Parts Manager for AHW in Champaign. He worked for John Deere for 49 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Francis of Assisi Chapter, Monticello and the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Champaign. Larry enjoyed carpentry, reading, and watching Kurtis perform in his Monster Truck. Larry was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and also owned stock in the team.
