Louise Brewer, 89, of Monticello, passed away at 2:20 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2025, at Carle Hospital, Urbana.Louise was born on November 16, 1935, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Leo Elbert and Ruth (McCallister) Knight. She married Andrew J. 'Jack' Brewer on December 11, 1955. He passed away November 26, 2021.Louise is survived by her sons, Terry Brewer of Tuscola, Dale (Mary) Brewer of DeLand, and Greg Brewer of Bement; grandchildren, Rachael Brewer of Champaign, Courtney Brewer of Newman; 4 step grandchildren, Tim (Amy) Grasela and Emily Sayyae both of Michigan, Suzanne (Cara) Ward of DeLand, Misty (Henry) Vasser of Champaign; and a sister, Dorothy Marvel of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.Louise was the Welcome Wagon Hostess for Monticello. She was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church, Home Extension, church choir, Piatt County Summer Singers, Mothers Singers in Champaign, and the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority from Illinois Wesleyan Uni
